GRIDINT RESEARCH · METHOD

The principles.

Our doctrine, as public creed. Every page on this site is built to it, and every figure can be checked against it.

  • We never create data. We never provide data. We report, visualize, and explain what already exists — from reputable sources we can trace to the row. The source is always the authority; we are the lens.
  • Every figure wears its source. Down to the accession number, the event ID, the archive row. A number without a receipt does not ship.
  • Actuals never dress as projections. Different line styles, always; ranges are bands; the floor is the headline.
  • Absence is stated, never implied clean. A gap in the data is a finding.
  • Model outputs are labeled as model outputs. Ours included.
  • Editions, not edits. Published work is dated and stands; updates arrive as new editions with their extensions named. (One ruled exception: our rolling flagship, which states its trailing window plainly.)
  • Explain everything. Every visualization answers "what am I looking at," names its method, and admits its limits.
  • Stay impartial. We study the records without an agenda; where we editorialize, we say so in the same breath.

How we work.

14 official sources and 2 sets we curate ourselves (named as such) · 192,931 records under management · 7 data hubs · 29 reports — every count read from the staged records at build.

  • Every figure traces to an official record.
  • Editions, never silent edits.
  • Analysis is labeled as analysis.
  • Nothing tracks the reader — no tiles, no third-party anything.

The mission.

GRIDINT was founded on a simple observation: the world produces more records than understanding. Filings pile up, sensors stream, registries grow — and the stories that would make them make sense go untold, or get told without receipts. We built a research house to close that gap: rigorous sourcing, publication-grade visualization, and the discipline to show our work on every figure. We never create data and we never provide it — the sources remain the authorities, and we are the lens that makes them legible. We are — deliberately — a consulting firm, an analysis desk, and a newsroom at once, because the intelligence worth paying for is the kind you can verify.
